I have been a Viral URL user for a couple of years now I guess so very familiar with him.

It should be easy to build a list but even with the toolbox full of helpful software etc it still takes time as members will always come one at a time.

When you have a list it will be a warm list as they decided to join to get your front end freebie, then as Colin said you need to keep them warm by offering good value to them on an ongoing basis and not swamp them with offer after offer leading to an unsubscribe request.

As he said provide help and offer assistance first then the income will follow when the trust element has been established.
